Sad stuff mate. Funny how mother nature works. In the west we have bushfires raging, in the east we have floods rising. Two different extremes. Just can't win. Keep a stiff upper lip soldier! :Stormtrooper:
no good james....and its headin this way..:geegee:
This is on the Newcastle road east of Dunedoo.
Sorry to see that. It's been raining all day here and all night so far. I hope things improve for you soon, you farmer's are the one's that keep our nation going.

sorry James, this is a tragedy, it is the same here, and Grenfell has flooded too....the macquarie is flooding in Bathurst, so Burrendong will get to 140%. Hoping the powers that B willl realize climate change is not such an issue, and we had a drought....and the greenys will leave us alone.....![]()

Hey Agro I think 100% at Burrendong is only 100% irrigation allocation. It will go to 150 I believe and then she is full.
Things are starting to go down here, slowly. Normally our local rivers( talbragar and Coolahburragundi) go down as quickly as they rise. They have been up since Sunday. The Talbragar is as high as I have seen it in my short lifetime. The Coolahburragundi has been very well behaved and not got as high as it should have.... thankfully as it would have all but taken all my crops. Hopefully it stays that way.
