    Nice ute for sure! Nice dragways too. Still find it amazing how nice wheels like them get taken off now for what were trailer wheels 10 years ago! I can see the point though. Might put my GTS rims on my WB for a change. Could be 300 years before they go on my Sandman lol.
    I actually reckon that the HQ ute dressed up like yours is the nicest looking out of the HQ-WB series..... except for the dash.

    Here's some more pictures as promised unfortunetly i have access to an extremely good camera so it pics up all the flaws... but at least you can tell it's driven

    It coped an original black dash pad (would you believe for $80)
    new door trims $30 bucks with the speaker holes in them
    New arm rests
    New Seatbelts
    GTS Console & Insert
    GTS Repo Dash Cover
    New Carpet and most other things just touched up'ed like i said it is a daily but the interior is a hell of alot nicer now!

    my dash mat was expensive too. but looks nice and tidy

    personally i like the HQ dash's not sure y so many people think they r ugly ahaha. im biased tho. but always prefered them to the following model dashes.
    1973 HQ with HZ front. Currently waiting for its resto.

    Hey Guys...

    Whats your take on later model Sandman stripes on HQ's...

    I'm trying to work out whether to go the original type HQ stripes or the later model coloured ones when i eventually finish the rust (and find someone to re-spray the outside... any takers? :errf


    The Ute would be the same Aquamarine Metallic... so yeah give up your thoughts on what you think would look good
