I'm pretty new to the whole thing with a small amount of knowledge in it all but with help from a few mates and uncles im sure i can get some knowledge to create a nice car..

Maybe spend a fraction more and avoid cost of rust repairs.
yeah fair point i guess it just depends on what i can find
engines and mechnaicals easy to replace or rebuild... just mainly look for a good shell and panels. 6cyl tend to be cheeper and its not hard to put v8 in em latter. be wairy of a freshly painted one... whats hiding why would you go to the effort and expence to paint one just to sell it.
