Its acrylic and thats why its hard to get it anywhere including small country Holden dealerships as they dont use acrylic anymore. Well thats what I have found in my attempts in Dubvegas to get the exact paint.
I had the codes that Absinth put up for the dash facia silver paint and Western paint looked at me as if I had two heads which was a bit frustrating. I reckon there could be a small sideline for someone to mix up some of these small quantities of old style paints.
Maybe there wouldnt be enough demand to make it worthwhile.
Jenny the code for Tan is 17211 or 3G043

Hi Jennie
There are a few paint codes listed in the old Dulux book for tan trim. They are listed as follows;
1974/75 Trim
Tan 17057
Tan 17117
1974/82 Trim
Tan 17211
I have found in the past, there is a differnce in shade between trim codes as well.
hope that helps
cheers
Mick
