I bought it for the kids to use in 2006 xmas, and it was used for about 3 months then sat in the cupboard, then used a bit while R and I went to UK for xmas 07, since then it has not been used, the discs can either be reused over and over, and you make a master copy, or you just use them as family dvd and don't tape over them...you can buy them (DVDs) from retravision I can't remember the price but it wasn't a lot. the instructions are pretty easy to understand too....
