Near completed builds/new builds for the new year...

As the year is drawing to a close and 2011 is around the corner, we all must have little side projects or maybe a new main project either drawing to completion or possibly beggining. Anyone else care to share?

For me, my EH HOLDEN 'SPECIAL' SALTBUSH GREEN build is drawing to completion and I can finally start tidying up my HJ HOLDEN SANDMAN!!!!

Have to TRY and get a little rust taken out of my HZ, as well as a repaint, engine,Sandman stickers and some rear interior work done.
THEN i have to get started on my HJ Sandman.

Well Wednesday the 29th December 2010 is the day for me. I've been going flat chat rubbing down the van and all the panels to have it ready for paint.....and I've just about got it beat. I've got 1 guard and the inside of the top tailgate to go in the morning and I'm home and hosed.
Just short of 2 years worth of pain, agony, ecstacy and it all comes down to one day in time when everything has to be ready.......and I made it

I'm guessing that it will be the last HJ Sandman van painted in the year 2010.

New Alpine stereo for the van this xmas. It even has orange illumination

So will spend a day installing that and a couple of new speakers and tweeters.

Mounted in the glove box to keep dash original. Although it is pretty good looking and deserves to be on display. mmmm?

Small job but looking forward to getting in to something.
