Looking at it now it may be HX as it has not got a yellow needle? I am positive it came from a HZ Caprice. (that was about 10 years ago) I didn't muck about when it came to taking as much of the original wiring as I could.

2jjj was the first fm station to go to air in oz and that was on the 1st august 1980...that radio is from an hz not an hx and like i said they are rockin horse shit as you could only get them late 79/80 in the hz series etc..
by the looks of it its tuned to JJJ

I have a similar one and it is handy ..tune into the correct FM station and it plays through your radio
Wouldn't be much good on a AM though!
