$1000 for a radio not on my watch
Just been down in Dad's shed giving him a hand and found the original radio blanking plate that I removed from my Sandman in '77. I might just hide a new unit in the glove box and keep dash original.

Just scored a am/fm radio for the HZ. Getting hard to find but they are out there. IMG_0075.jpg

I had that exact one in my van when I got it. I pulled it out and fitted a CD player and I think I chucked the radio out but I'll have a dig around in my electrical parts cupboard.... I may have kept it. I had no idea anyone would want one.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
The FM radios were only in the last of the HZ's. Unsure of the cutoff date but they are rare to come across. Try Statesmans and Caprices to find them.
At least they are the most useful if you are making them work in a car.

Yes they were optional in all HZ models.... Bloody expensive though for what they were, aftermarket was much better value.
