Yes defo no rust and better bodies (as everything inland :lolthat is how we got the red van but not for a steal, but a good price, I will keep an eye out for you I also have spys out who have access to old farm sheds west of here....(here being Parkes)

Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up buying a 1/79 HZ 6 cylinder from a bloke down at Batemans Bay today. It's not a Sandman but will be ideal for the project I am undertaking. The car originally came from up Canberra way and pretty good from a rust point of view. It only spent the last 12 months down at Batemans locked away in a blokes shed so the salt water has done any damage! One of the previous owner's mate has welded in some floor repair sections and done a poor job as well as butchering the trans tunnel so I have a few jobs to do. Body wise the cars pretty straight and has a lot of the trim stuff still intact and in good nick which is a plus.
