Gaddy you should open a dispute for unpaid item. This will put it into eBay's system, then you can relist the original item with an option to select that it is a relist for unpaid listing - you will not be charged.

That sounds like the go but can I relist the Item straight away or do I need to wait till the dispute is finalised?

You can relist now and open the dispute call at the same time.

If he hasn't paid and you still have the item then dispute centre isn't likely to accomplish anything useful. They can't make him pay. Better off sending him a message saying " You send me 15 bucks to cover my ebay fee's and time shifting this thing around the garage (I assume it's not that small if it was pickup ony) and I'll relist and leave you good feedback" Then send a second chance offer to whoever was the next highest bidder on the Auction.

If the guy can't handle 15 bucks for his mistake then he's a tool and hit him with it then.

playwme...you have to open a dispute for ebay to refund your fees coz the knob doesnt want it.its how ebay is structured..it has nothing to do with the knob that doesnt want it paying or being made to pay....

    F$%K EBAY!

I recently advertised a car on there. heres the story...

Put it on as classified ad and within 2 days a MASSIVE KNOB agreed to buy it via best offer and then changed his mind. So i got hit for re-listing fee of another $20 because of some indecisive dipshit!

To ad fuel to the fire stoking in my fists of rage i sold the car OUTSIDE of ebay a week later and got hit with a $40 final value fee!

I refused to allow them to take the money (sent an email) and the dogs took it anyways. I have now asked that my account be pulled permanantly.

    I HATE Ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but in this case the fee's are what, $4? You lodge a dispute, eventually get your $4 back 2 months later and the guy get's off scott free (like you said, sellers cant even give bad feedback). I'm assuming too many disputes and ebay will close down a buyers account but it's worth asking him to make amends first. If I do something that puts someone out I at least make sure they aren't out of pocket and have a 6 pack for their troubles.
