Brisbane 1974 flood photo

Look at all the old Holdens underwater. Especially note the HK GTS in the foreground and the 1960 Chev just in front of the HG in the top left corner.

Looks like all the cars in the top photo were damaged already. Burnt out wagon, ute down the bottom has the front smashed in as does the little sedan next to the boat. The GTS probably had a hit in the rear and thats why the boot is open.

The panel van on the right was the first thing I noticed too. EH panel can came to my mind too. Although I can't be too sure :Chin:

Hi there,
Just found this forum today. I've seen a similar pic to the first one elsewhere, and seem to remember it being a police holding yard down near the river. This would explain previous damage to the cars eg the burnt out wagon.
