I haven't posted how the van is going recently, i have been super busy with work..
Not the greatest but i got to pay for the van somehow.

The van has moved from the panel shop a while ago to a mates place where it can be safely put back together. (Blocker i haven't seen your beast in there yet?)

At the moment I'm hunting a good pair of bonnet hinges. All of the ones that i have are very loose.

If anyone knows how to fix them, or somewhere where they can be fixed, please let me know.

I'm also getting back into ebay to sell off some of my clutter that i know i won't need.

I'm looking for some advice on a block & trans that came from the magical tunner that I got my hands on (for those who remember)

The bores on the block measure
4.0560 Inches
What size oversize is this?

There is also a T350 (well that's whats stamped onto the pan)

Now what could I look for to help describe their condition.

The Block's date cast is 24F6 and the no is almost indistinguishable 11QT7###

The blocks cast date is 24th June 76 so it is 308 out of a July-Aug 76 HX Statesman.

How do you tell that its statesman? I'm guessing 11QT
I'll have to get some photos of the dash up to see what you think.
To be honest this resto has been very testing for me, never having done any work on cars before i completely underestimated the amount of time and money that it would take. It's getting oh so close now.

The 11 on the front of the number is stato.

You guessed correctly.... 11QT is Statesman.... well the 11 bit anyway.

Hehe..... cost of restoring....... think of the maximum amount you think it will cost and then DOUBLE it and you will be close to actual cost....
