That is really cool. I'm going to go and buy the magazine also.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
Cool. Good reward for all the work that went into restoring it!
very clean...i really like your stripe shape replication on the interior....:Flower:![]()
Thanks guys. Very pleased with the result. There are a few errors in the story but that's to be expected I guess.
They have stuffed up the identification of a Sandman insert. But I didn't provide that so I don't look like the goose there. They mention mysandman.com.au as a reference to Sandman id. That might be the first recorded mention in print Andrew.
Greg: the back came up really well. We were meant to be going a coloured duplication of the stripe pattern inside bu ran out of time. I think it probably looks better in black anyway as it is understated which is how I wanted the back to look. Done up but not to larey.
Congratulations for being in print, I have just bought the mag. and read the article, R is now reading it after coming home driving our van...you have done a fantastic job, it sounds so much like us and our resto...we have enjoyed looking for all the bits, and Ozbox has been very helpful with our original parts and advice..as is the mysandman forum been very helpful and informative. I too love the interior especially the embossed stripe...Hope to meet you at the Van Nats, or somewhere when we are down in Melbourne for Easter....to see your van first hand...
Cheers
