Went to the local sausage sizzle for brekkie. Pulled the chassis out and started to strip back and clean out rails, got an ice cream container full of grass and hay out of it WTF, wire brushed and Killrusted the bottom frame from one of the seats then too bloody hot so took kids to the pool. Just about to start dinner and crack a beer, Happy Australia Day everyone

We too got up late, got organised, and went for a cruis in the van , pulled up at the park for a look at a display of Aussie cars, they rushed over and insisted we get the van into the park and join them so we put an aussie on the window, sat down and chatted to fellow classic car lovers, lined up a xy GTHO drive for No1 daughter, for her 21st later this year for a carton of
We listened to the awards, was very hot and nearly melted, heaps of interest in the van, came home at midday jumped into the pool to cool off then had a with some friends. Had a nice long nap this arv. and now sitting on the lounge, contemplating another drive this arv.

PS blocker heaps of people liked the mysandman sticker we put on the van window before we left...

    PSS happy Australia day...

Up about 8ish and took the dog down the beach for a walk and then to the cafe for a coffee and breakfast. Then put the new window regulator purchased from Ozbox in the van. Then in the arvo hit the beach.
