because HZ have "brake" and "park brake". HX dashes I have here have "brake" and just a red lence for the other.

I new the speedos were different between HJ and HX due to the high beam light and therefore the warning lights were different. The HX dash seems heaps harder to find. The ones on ebay always turn out to be HJ. The adr plate dosnt have 31A, the highest number is 28. Its a 10/76.
I have three HX dash fascia's and all of them have "PARK BRAKE.... BRAKE" in them. One of the dashes is the original one out of my old 7-76 Monaro so I guess all mine are early.
Must say I didn't know about the difference either, I'll have to go through my parts catalogue and see if I can find reference to it.
My Sandman is 3-77 with no 31a either.
wbute, I have seen plenty of HX GTS dashes come up on Ebay, getting a decent or repairable fascia isn't easy in both HJ and HX. All depends on how much you are prepared to pay for one I guess....

Will keep doing the ebay thing. Will be interested to know what the adr thing is all about.
i think it came in with RTS. - the "brake" and "brake fail"
so a late HX with RTS should have it i suppose.
i am not 100% on this, just another thing to take notice of.
