I have three HX dash fascia's and all of them have "PARK BRAKE.... BRAKE" in them. One of the dashes is the original one out of my old 7-76 Monaro so I guess all mine are early.
Must say I didn't know about the difference either, I'll have to go through my parts catalogue and see if I can find reference to it.
My Sandman is 3-77 with no 31a either.
wbute, I have seen plenty of HX GTS dashes come up on Ebay, getting a decent or repairable fascia isn't easy in both HJ and HX. All depends on how much you are prepared to pay for one I guess....
