Well give you lot... how do you tell if it is a JP or NP (whatever that is) block? I might be able to get back up there in a couple of weeks....
I dont think I would have a hope in hell of explaining where it is and you prob drive on by and not see it anyway... lol. There is lots of trees, mountains and valleys around it.
Give me your address Jason and you can have it oil and all... It's prob worth something to an XU1 nut so think of me when I need some stickers for this HQ van.. hee hee

Byron... it didnt have double valve springs like the v8 toranas used to. Would they look like roller rockers?

Engine number will start with JP or NP, easy. Rockers look exactly like all early Holden 6cyl, XU-1 didn't get fixed rockers with bridges like HQ onwards 6cyl and 253/308.
Thanks Byron,
Too easy. I will go check later.
Bit hard right now with starting a new job after getting through school holidays. Kids back to school next week so should be able to get more organised...lol

Sorry guys that's not an XU1 Rocker cover for several reasons. Maybe the sticker is but there is already excellent reproduction decals out there. All XU1 rocker covers were Chrome (factory) and it's to late a rocker cover where the PCV valve goes in should be raised a whole lot more like the HR holden ones not slightly raised like the one in the picture.
Also no raised bit before the 3300 on the decal
Cheers Dave
