If you could have 3 questions answered correctly about the Holden Sandman what would they be?

I'm compiling questions at the moment for a little project, so please keep your top 3 questions succinct and directly related to Sandmans. :weights:

Could you order a Sandman from the dealer with a twin exhaust?

Could you choose your own stripe combination?

Was it possible to order them with some delete option's..no black out's..stripes etc. Similar to falcon Gt's of the era?

I guess it depends whether you are anwering questions for the "in the know" people or the general car enthusiast.

Here's a few questions I get asked all the time. I know the answers but plenty obviously do not. Anyone getting to the finish of their restoration get ready for these.

Did Sandman vans come with side windows?

Was there ever a WB Sandman?

Did Sandmans come with a twin headlight front?

How to id a Sandman is the question I get asked the most and as we know it is not that easy to answer.

And the perenial favourite:

Is it a Sandman without XX7 on the plate?

The one I don't know but would love to is how many were made?

Mine will obviously be a bit different!

1. Is there a HQ or HJ Sandman out there somewhere still fitted with it's original 173? Or even just some ID off one? I've never found one.

2. Were there any 11/73 or 12/73 plated HQ Sandmans. I've found one possibility, but no defintes as yet.

3. HJ XU4. What is the GVW for any variation of these? Anyone ever found one?
