Mine will obviously be a bit different!

1. Is there a HQ or HJ Sandman out there somewhere still fitted with it's original 173? Or even just some ID off one? I've never found one.

2. Were there any 11/73 or 12/73 plated HQ Sandmans. I've found one possibility, but no defintes as yet.

3. HJ XU4. What is the GVW for any variation of these? Anyone ever found one?

I realise I made a mistake with the wording in my third question. It should read...

Could you order a Sandman with certain feature's deleted, such as stripes..blackout's etc. As you could do so with the falcon gt's of the era.

is a sandman still a sandman if the chassis number does not match the tags?

To further Greg's question, is a Sandman still a Sandman if it's tags are gone? Or a replacement identical shell is used with the original chassis and tags?
