I realise I made a mistake with the wording in my third question. It should read...

Could you order a Sandman with certain feature's deleted, such as stripes..blackout's etc. As you could do so with the falcon gt's of the era.

To further Greg's question, is a Sandman still a Sandman if it's tags are gone? Or a replacement identical shell is used with the original chassis and tags?

Show me the differences between the GTS rims (imported, original and Repro).
Is there any documented evidence that some Sandman's had early or late accessories installed during series overlap? (e.g HX mirrors on a late HJ etc).
