How do we know its a WB body? tail lights? That doesnt proove it to be WB body.
In my opinion I say Yes. Its still a sandman. But I may need work to be "original"

It may well be a HX with repaired quarters, but looks very much WB. Very easy to pick a WB body though. Aquarius too. There is one deadset giveaway that it isn't the original body for the HX Sandman though. Anyone see it? Stands out like K9 man bits!

This was the reply from the seller when asked about the body ....
Put wb body on original chassis, as original was beyond repair. This body needs work but found it hard to find a windowless body. Have all parts and spares.
Also have the wb front which goes with all the spares

More obvious than any of that. Not obvious it is a WB, but obviously not the original body.
No shifter hole, console brackets or 4spd reversing switch hole.

A couple of things stick out for me..
Byron posted that Sandmans were only available as XX7 or XU3!!
So does that mean that only a Vehicle whose tags are stamped as such are Genuine Sandmans??
Trim codes, Full length Hood lining GTS dash and door courtesy lights etc wouldnt matter then if these stamps arent present??

And I am also concerned now that if its all in the "TAGS", should we all not immediately remove ours and store them in a safety deposit box so any dis-reputable ppl reading this stuff arent able to come steal them???
My M8 has a beautiful HK Monaro and loves it, but when his Tags were stolen, it significantly de-valued it!!!

Lack of hole and consol mounts on the trans tunnel.
Didn't know the firewall was so differen't tho, I'll put that one in the memory bank.
