Got ID sent to me today for an Elizabeth HX XX7 ute that is for sale. Original Antelope and 67V, original 308 M21 running gear. Been repaired and painted in Mandarin, retrimmed, just has to go back together. In Tasmania. It has a rare ID plate mistake too. VIN plate says it has a 308, BODY plate says M21. Kicker is it also says L32, and funny thing is it is also a GV7 car which is standard with 253 and optional (and rare) with 308 but also seems to be pretty common practice on L31 M21 HJ and HX utes. All ID plates pretty much belong together though, so it would appear nothing dodgy is going on, just a mistake. Car has known history since new supposedly. Check of service records will state whether it was a 253 or 308. Owners want $12k, looks OK for that I suppose, no major work needed apart from assembly. I can pass on info if anyone is interested.
