Great day out. Drove in with Rob and his superb Super mint GTS HZ. Met Hainzy and Sean for the first time. At one stage there were all 4 of us from here in the one spot. That must be as rare as a Sandman. When I told my wife she asked if I took a pic. Whoops. I think I need to call her for advice more.

    Here's a few pics.

    Rob and I

    A couple together

HZ Ute. Agree on the stripes Sean. Looked ordinary compared to screen printed ones. Caught up with the owner later on and had a good look at it. Purchased new in Warrigul VIC. I think he said he was the 3rd owner. Gave you a plug Jason. And the site of course.

    Plates:
    HZ8W m 80
    408899-A
    1937-63V
    567-30528
    L32 M20 GV4

    3/78
    GVW 1950
    Adelaide (L4)

Took pics of the plates if anyone wants them send me a pm with your email.

    Only other Van there today.

    Nice Air brushed bonnet

Got very sun burnt face, but apart from that great day.

If it is a HZ sandman ute it should not have the chrome bits in the blinkers parking lights, and the headlight surrounds are upside down, and maybe the gts guards....
    You got them all Jenni

The headlight surrounds was more what I was posting about as I didn't want to seem as though I was picking at a very nice ute..... it is amazing how many HZ's have the twin headlight surrounds incorrectly fitted, often one side is correct and the other side not so I guess people don't notice they are squared off at one end and rounded at the other end....

Got to agree with Ian, that is one beautiful HZ GTS Rob has...
