Any word on the replacement cowls? for the HJ -WB?

The HQ cowl panel sample required some minor correction and the tooling is currently being modified. It was very close but not 100%.We will test a new sample soon. It will have the dash pad retaining strip. Then then HJ one will be finished on the tooling and again a sample tested for acceptance. We have vehicles for testing of both HQ & HJ.

If you can't wait, go inland mate. You'll find a good WB at a wreckers inland. No point ringing, you'll just have to go for a drive. Try places like towns near Dubbo, Gunndah etc. Take the whole firewall cut, through the pillars and under the joint at the floor-firewall. You'll find if you have a rusty cowl top, the under cowl will have rust too. Unfortunately the big wreckers out towards Nyngan is gone but there are others. Before you go, try Greg at Classicozwreck, not sure what good cowls he has left but he might have one.

ill keep my eyes open for a good cowl around for you, there even starting to get thin on the ground in dubbo, still picking up a few out near where i work, the scrapies put a big dint in the old cars

come to think of it i bought a repro of the hz gts dash fascia and when fitted on the car was out of alignment even when screwed in place i could still see underneath the taco and speedo poor manufacturing ,but the quad was ok ?
