I know it's quite obvious. but how about fixing up the tooling for the dash facias?

I was told that this was done a while back........ After I sent back various facias I was not happy with. I said I wanted a new facia from the repaired tooling but was told it could be a couple of years before there is any as they have to get rid of stock. Which I guess is fair enough in a way......

need WB tailight assemblies of some description.

HJ-WB lower dash, .they are ALL cracked, even in low milage cars.

the GTS wheel nuts are a discrace! Rubber inserts that pop out when you tighten them up.

make HQ-WB front doors?, the market is huge, i would pay $750 / door, i am sure everyone else would too. the original doors didn't have enough drainage holes and are all stuffed.

make a decent tailgate. i know i can get a piece of thin crap that i have to remind my mates not to lean on for $110, but i would pay around $400 for a genuine one...

RS need to revisit the GTS steering wheel... - i refuse to buy the RS one, although i need one.

the HJ-Z front indicator lenses are of poor quality, they don't fit and i have a pair that are 3 years old and the chrome paint has fallen off. this car has been in storage too.

HQ bumper bar brackets, everyone has a HQ bumper bar, but no brackets.

Revisit HQ and HJ-WB cowl replacement sections, i won't buy one until they make a decent one.

complete wiring harnesses. most are cut, shut and had a chev and gone back to holden again and are just a mess..

HQ - WB crash pads that look authentic

my opinion of RS is that its better than nothing, but put a bit more emphasis on quality, even if this means increased price.

HJ-WB Lower dash facia. Suit A/C

They would be better making one to suit A/C and people wanting it not to suti A/C cut the foot vent sections out.

Awesome day. The scale or RSP'd operation is huge, repro parts is only a part of it. The quantity of ehat they have in stock is mind blowing, and to walk around and see NOS stuff there ready for sampling is very interesting. Seeing repro HQ nose panel samples for instance....

As for quality issues, I am semi-convinced they are now heading in the right direction, and I now have (meaning you guys also now have) a direct input right to the Directors of the Company with feedback on what is not right, and what we want to see reproed.

On top of this, I looked through their new product bulletins for last year. They are going to provide these to me, so I can post them up here for all of us to see what is coming and what is now available.

I'll post more later, but we should not miss this opportunity to be involved.

Note, new GTS wheels are on the way, very hard to pick from original. Unfotunately they are only going to be thin spoke, but hell it at least helps most Sandmans. As for wish list stuff, we are in now on the ground floor with this, at least they'll now listen.

Well done Byron, sounding like the kid was in the lolly shop today.

Conratulations on what seems to be a very productive and posiive adventure, it's good to hear that they are willing to listen and learn.

Great news about the GTS wheels, sometimes you wonder how the other ones passed QC in the first place.

Can't wait for the future posts.
