    HQ Service Manual, Vol 6

    Hi BigCav;

    are there any plans to reproduce the "commercial vehicles suppliment"? One recently went on ebay [item 230640419261] for $170:knockout:

    Bigcav...have you sorted out the spark plug lead holders that clip onto the rocker cover? I posted on Fastlane a month ago about it but no one has replied yet.

    I know it's only a matter of cutting the angle back a bit but I spent my money buying what I thought was a correct replacement part. I'm not a fan of having to cut new stuff up to make it fit....thats why I buy new stuff. ( on that note I'll talk to you about your upper tailgate seal later.....not happy Cav)

    I'm only a few weeks away from rego and after spending approx $5K with Rares I will be sending a report on your parts and expect a refund, or proper replacements, on a few of the dodgey bits. ( please don't take that as an aggressive remark ;0)

    Don't get me wrong...I want what I pay for and expect nothing more and nothing less...but I do expect it to fit without modification.

    I'm not by any means slagging off at Rares as they have listened to me on the full cowl panel issue and removed it from sale and I believe they even re-tooled the van/ute rear beaver panel as well which doesn't help me now but will in the future...perhaps

    I also thank you for reinventing the cowl drain tubes that now fit on the r/h side.

    As far as vans are concerned there are still a few little things to sort out....but Rares is getting closer.

    I'm over buying stuff that "looks" like the original but doesn't perform....I've got heaps of that stuff sitting in my garbage bin already.

    OK...just bought them

    --- Updated ---

    Also.....was talking to a mate in Mullumbimby the other day and mentioned the wiper motor I need and the trouble I had getting the fuel cap. He went to a local wrecker and picked up both for free. The only condition was he had to remove them himself. Bargain!

    You are kidding me, while out hunting with a mate for a chainsaw i managed to sniff out some Holden workshop manuals, got HQ Electrical and body panels as well as the commercial supplement for $10. also got a stack of the Gregories manuals. The old blokes son had a red Sandman Van back in the day. pity there weren't any parts.

    Before you ask I noticed that the old fellas trailer was running HQ Hubcaps.. Always ask people!
