don't think so as HX GTS had silver fascia

I'll check my HJ catalogue when I get home. I have not seen a black fascia listed from memory.

Just to add some info. I cannot verify if they were genuine fitted parts but when i got my HJ sandman (XX7, 76 model) it had a original black dash facia not painted. I recently bought a silver one thinking mine was wrong. It had the blacked out front headlight surounds but chrome tail light, door handles and windscreen surrounds. The vans original colour was black so i was thinking maybe they fitted the chrome to the backone, although the van had been played with a bit at some stage. The paint was original but they had done a big silver bonnet spray that went up and around the doors and big silver sandman block vinel cut stickers and pink fluf everywhere in the back, all looked very 80s. but everything apperared to be original.

i think the 76 spec or 8/75 onwards HJ's had a black fascia,

and the early ones had silver??
