we won't be able to fit 8" rims to HQ-WB anymore. The biggest allowable will be 7" (well 7" plus 15mm) without an Engineer's Report.

I always thought that you could go 1" bigger diameter and 1" wider.
So because WB Statesman had 15 x 7, you could go to 16 x 8 without engineers.
