    Anyone in the know inform my why the VIN and ADR are negative stamped (raised text) and the Body plate is positive stamped (except the headings)?

    Normal for early HJ's? My 76 Adelaide HJ is all negative stamped.

    Normal for all Adelaide built cars up to early/mid 1975.... so yes early HJ

    Absinth is right, I should have clarified early HJ. It also means Pagewood and Dandenong from the same timeframe are the same.

    Mine's 3/75 (BHJ16984A) and the tags are the same stamping as yours.
