    Refuelling a Sandman.

Last century, when I had my HZ ute, it was an absolute pain to fill up. It was ok to somewhere around the 3/4 mark, then it would blow out and had to be trickle filled. Around town I used to run it under full, but when your in the outback it was a pain in the rear to fill. Was this commonplace or was I just unlucky with it.

    Cheers.

My WB is the same. You can nearly get another 10 litres(which gets it to around the 70 litre mark) in if you trickle fill it. You can then sqeeze a bit over 400 k's out of it. Just dont park it in the shed and not drive it if you do this. As the fuel expands it will come out the cap and go all down the side of your ute/van.

mines good. Stick it in and it goes to the top before cutting out.

It used to cut out every second or so and need drip feeding but that has stopped some how. Maybe they have fitted different nozzles at the servos here.
