    I was cheating a bit there. The photo is of the old girl about 6 years ago. The paint has faded a bit, but she's still solid and straight and currently living under a sheet in my shed!

    Perhaps someone can help me out with a query?

    The paint and body codes indicate she's a madeira red kingswood ute (HZ8W N 80 and 568-30519). The trim is 1928-60V. I gather the 60V is chamois vinyl. Does anyone know what the 1928 represents?

    She's fitted with a twin headlight front, GTS guards, yellow needle GTS instruments, GTS s/wheel and centre console with 4 on the floor (originally an M20, was a M21 when I got her and now has a supra 5 speed), power steer, air cond (behind glove box) and fast (tinted) glass. I've had her since '91 so can only assume someone raided the statesman parts bin in the first 13 years of her life!!!

    Hi Nige and welcome, very nice looking ute. There are many informed people on here, and they will have the answers to any questions you may have.
    I believe the 1928 is the paint code for your ute..Madeira Red.
