wow im just overwhelmed with the quality of the replies on here.. Thanks for all the info.. I guess as you said its safiest to wait for something than to go buy say the HZ with the paint bubbles not knowing whats underneath.. I guess i'll have to just wait for the right one to come up.. What happens when you find a HQ XX7 Kingswood ute that has been used as a builders ute and has a few dents and moderate rust????
At least we are not in the position XY/XW people are who start from a bare shell in a paddock and buy it "one piece at a time".

This is it this month, would anyone buy it if they found it in someones backyard like that, the reason i did was because i owned it back about '87 and thought it was dead, (close to)
It's good to get a guide on what people think is reasonable for bodywork and paint bacuse i think as many vans should be rescued as possible, it's only going to get harder and more expensive from here.
