Do what you want. Unless you are going for concours it won't affect anything even resale. If it was me i'd have the GTS guards and leave the stripes off, but leave the SANDMAN logo on the tailgate. Will look heaps nicer in my eyes, but it is your van so do as you please!

Have seen a few vans where they stick these decals just behind the front door windows instead.
they never look as good behind the front doors. Just looses the cool HX/HZ stripe appeal!

yeah im def leaning to your way of thinkin HK

i was gonna leave the stripes off the side anyhow (its got the best rear quarters ive EVER seen on a van!)

the stripes cover what are one of the best features of these beauties.. the curves
    .. thats my opinion

not a fan of the logo behind the door either

[QUOTE=HK1837;13633]It'd be dealer fitted. Probably a Papaya HX van? Unless it was a GMH TEST VEHICLE, then it may have been done in Engineering or done for display.[COLOR="Silver"]

It was a madirin red. all i know is it was deliverd like that from new its was on the sales recipt.

Stripes with gts guards never looks rite and the small sandman always looks out of place if its not where it is ment to go. i say if you going stripes put std guards on, no stripes gts guards are the go.

as most say your van do what you like! back in the panel van golden day it was all about custom changes and how far you can modify it. look at all the van nats show winners for the last 30 plus year not a stock one yet.
