when i see him next i will see what other items were in the outback kit
As far as I know it isn't part of HZ XW5 (Outback equipment package). This was available on all models (unlike XX7 or XU3 which was available on 2 x models only!):

F72 Gross Load Equipment (ute and van only);
K45 Heavy Duty Air Cleaner (not with L31, L32);
D71 Rear Mud Flaps (only on 35, 69, 70 and 80);
T57 Front Mud Flaps

Feature changes (items with no option code) were:

Engine splash pan;
Rear shock absorber stone shield (60, 70 and 80 only);
Rear lower control arm mounting bracket re-inforcement (35 and 69 only).

Oddly enough, the only way you could get front and rear mudflaps as factory fitment was on an XW5. They were dealer fitted otherwise.
