That is pretty much correct.
Quaddy's run 2 x long bolts and 2 x studs. All blue and black V8 (except Bedford and HO pack on L34) ran Quadrajets, all 304 and 308 ran Quadrajet.
All red 253 ran WW Stombergs, and these ran 4 x studs.
