    If he's asking 9K i'd be suprised if his reserve is set any lower than 8.

    Looks average at best to me. Front left fender has been bogged to the nose cone! there looks to be a bit of rust going down in the left gutter above passenger and the seam in the same side where van cab meets rear 1/4. If they were genuine honest sellers they would have not sprayed the car in water pre shoot and would have provided shots of rust etc. Take a mate with a very keen eye or a painter/beater who knows this type of vehicle. I think you might be wasting your time dude. Look for something neater. Might cost you a few K more but you'll end up saving big $ in the long run

    I reckon it quite likely is a Sandman, great combo too if original: Flamenco red with black trim in 308 TH400 and air. Lucky it isn't a ute or i'd be on it too!
    It could also be a BO6. These often had buckets, 308, TH400, GTS dash and always had a Premier nose. Can be based upon Holden or Kingswood vans. They were always column shift though, so lack of console brackets will give it away if it is a BO6. Could also be a normal Holden or Kingswood van ordered as 308 TH400 with T-bar.

    Slightly off topic here, but on my HZ (which has got factory A/C) it has a fuel return line to the tank and i noticed that this one doesn't.
    So in the words of Professor Sumner-Miller "Why is this so"????
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman

    I think that is a fair asking price we paid more for our yellow van, and that van is probably in better condition rustwise, but who knows until soda blasted..at least you can drive her about for a while until ready to do a resto....

    Our madeira red van looked better as well when wet....
    HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!

    Keep saving NickyG.

    I reckon quite likely a sandman also.
    Owner said they will send photos of rust. Could be minor?? The rust seen in those photos would be minor in my opinion.
    General appearance looks like a well looked after van. If paint was new I'd be more worried about what was hiding underneath.
    Factory A/C, 308, dual fuel, 9"

    As Agro says it may not be an original A/C car as it should have the vapour return line, could be removed though. If it is an L31 M41 GU4 HZ XX7 or XU3 van in Flamenco with 18V trim with factory air it'll be a very good pickup for someone. Arguably the top dog HZ Sandman! Possibly only the same thing in 60V trim or as is but Jasmine paint might top it (particularly Jasmine 18V as it is the brochure van combo).

    I use the 3 part system by Meguiars, it's called 'deep crystal' you use a paint cleaner, then polish then wax. It's all on the bottles what you need to do on each step.
    It takes ages to do a car but in my opinion is worth the effort.

    You know that van is a great buy as it has drag way indies with white writing on the tires, current owner is clearly a man with taste.
