Steve Bisley interview for ABC documentry Wide Open road

Yesterday we were asked to take the Sandman down to Balmoral beach to be used in an interview for a 3 part series on the ABC about how cars impacted on various actors lives, and Australians in General. They found out we maybe able to assist by contacting Blocker through the forum...

We left last evening and stayed overnight in Oatley, and then headed to Mossman this morning...
Everyone was really impressed with the van and how original it was, and Steve sat on the tailgate and spoke to the camera...really nice and interesting guy, he went for a lap of the esplanade with Rodney, and we chatted after the interview.

Unfortuntely due to privacy laws I can't post any pics up of Steve or Jean Kitson who was to be interviewed next with a Jag as her backdrop. Jean also liked the van, and gave an account of her experiences in the 70's going to drive-inns etc.

Rodney and Jennie I' glad it worked out for you. Thank you for being so accommodating and available to drive (at least) 5 hours each way on short notice!!!

There may be some benefit to our website here, but most importantly we showed that as a community we can be relied upon to meet unique requests like these.

With the Schweppes competition, My Generation TV show, the Sydney Morning Herald and now ABC TV... it's time to make some money out of it
