I have had the good fortune to speaking to PB as well as Eric Dowker on this subject.
    They believed
As some people believe in Negative iron generators.
The wagon was built with it so it stays with it.
As to what I think,Well I think is it a real nice wagon(196kw)not bad or an 87 car,And that is the spec from HDT.

    Cheers Kiwivan
Definately keep the Energy Polarizer in the wagon!! (God knows what will happen to fuel consumption if you remove it, and potentially the whole cosmos out of whack thing too - lol ) But seriously, your wagon is worth so much more with it in. If I could get my hands on an Energy Polarizer that was missing it's donor vehicle, I would fit it into the Kingy straight away. A Brock Polarizer has to be one of the coolest things ever. Much more so on the original car.

I do remember the interview on the ABC with the Holden spokesperson around the time the split with Peter Brock over the polarizer happened. The Holden spokeperson (may have been the CEO) said that Holden had tested the EP in every aspect of the vehicles performance, and run every test they could imagine on it, and couldnt find any difference in any way from a vehicle fitted without the polarizer] (words close to, this is my memory from around 27 years back, but it was a memorable moment).

It just made it even cooler.
Peter Brock rests in peace I'm sure.

On a completely different note though and back to the origin of the thread, it's really excellent to know that it was one of Jennie and Rodney's Sandman's the ABC used for Wide Open Road. I have only seen episode 1 and 2, I've kept my eye out to see the rest of them, but, keep missing the live TV broadcast for one reason or another- I'm gonna have to have a look on ABC iveiw now. (There was a re-screen on the ABC between Christmas and New Years just past (2014). I'm gonna log off straight away and look up ABC iview!

Polarised is actually the plural for polarity. Polarized is the the American spelling.
    Hence the name Polarizer.
They are the same word essentially.
Turned out to be a fairly bad decision for Peter Brock sadly though.

Episode 3 of Wide Open Road is not on ABC iview at present, however, I found it complete at http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xm3...-car-wars_auto This plays in full nicely, and without advertising, so I assume the webhost is licensed and contributing royalties. Having just seen it, I understand why the EP came up in this thread. The van looks immaculate!
