this was advertised a couple of months ago. i rang the old fella, said he had owned it from new . was in very good nik ,only the strips had been touched up by a signwriter they were abit faded ,and he said he wished he left them alone - sorry it took so long for my reply

no worrys . if you ring him i would be very interesd to here what he says & if he sold it or not ,he said he had a lot of people call him,but i dont know if he would get that price.anyway i hope he helps out with pix & i still love that colour!

Hi Bern, mate I actually spoke to this guy yesterday and he is going to get his granddaughter to take some pictures and email them to me on Monday so if you like I will let you know when I get them and try and post on here or email them to you. He told me he is the second owner bought it when it was 6 years old, its only a 253 but all stock and original, will ait for the photo's and if it is as good as it looks and sounds may head up for a closer look, cheers.

To Bern and HZ1178 or anyone else for that matter if you send me your email addresses I will forward the photo's of the van , tried to download onto this thread without success. The guy wants $35k for the van claims its only been for sale for two weeks thats a big drop in price? Siad he and his wife are moving into a retirement home and wont have the room to keep it. Unfortunately he only send me 3 pics and its looks a clean honest van from the pics but was hoping for more detailed photo's etc. I asked him if it was a XX7 van and he could not tell me nor did I think he understood what I was talking about. If it was a 308 I would probably be on the plane but I think a bit rich for a 253.

i think u will find it was a late hz sandman colour aswell(sage metalic). only one way to find out for sure, is to c one in the flesh.
i know this colour looks diferent in every photo ,but this caprice(above) is definitly not cypress
