This is the HZ Premier console shift type 5 fascia, part number 9946778. I used to see a lot of them on Premiers getting wrecked 10-15 years ago, normally part of a "country pack". I'm 99% sure this fascia isn't original to this Kingswood, but the instruments may well be however it would have had a black fascia 9946780 (9946781 for column shift auto). I'd say someone got the fascia and T-bar inset from a Premier.
If anyone is interested Rodney is going to Dubbo on Saturday to get the Van dyno-tuned....so if you find out the exact address he can check her out for you......

I saw a lot of HZ Premiers in car yards with that dash in them in the early 80's... was a common option I think.
I nearly bought a 78 Jasmine Yellow HZ Premier in 1983, 308 with T400, air and steer with the type 5 woodgrain fascia for $5100. Ex country (Dalby) car
I decided to go for the 79 VB SL 253 sports pack Commodore in the same car yard for $7000 instead.... I liked the wipers on the headlights and better ride/handling... should have bought the Prem...
