    Grandfathers!!

    So ppl!!
I found out on the weekend that I will be a Grandfather this September!!
    Woo Hoo 4 me!!
So as I will be a VERY YOUNG Grandfather, I was wondering how many of our members are Grandfathers (or mothers)??
And what if any, advice you might have for me.
Or any Advice you may remember your Grandfather gave you..
I am a little excited about the idea I must say!!
Not really sure that Im willing to put a baby seat in the Sandman though!!

    Yes Congrats!

My grandpop. Was the best man who ever lived. =). Sadly no longer around. But I guess its all about being there and being active with the grandie. One of my grandpops was active and always there no matter what I did wrong. The day he passed I was by his side and there the next day with my grandma. The other well I dont chat to him anymore.......

I'm a poppy. I've got two 11 year olds, a 5 and 2 year old and another on the way which is due on the 4th July.
My best advice is to spoil them rotten then hand them back to their Mum. Works for me

the chances of my kids giving me grandkids are slim and im happy with that...

feed them beer when they are young....and can appreciate the taste..tis also good to watch them pull faces..
its the earliest memory of one of my grandfathers that i have and i cherish it..

    Congratulation's Gaddy,
Love them, play with them, teach them respect, just the same as you did with your own. Of course take them for a run in your sandman when they are old enough to understand it.

    Cheer's.
