BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman
After having a look at all those vans at the nationals, am getting excited about going down at Easter. But I am seriously hoping that there is more grass than the dust bowl depicted, as am not sure I want to park our van or wonder around in a quad myer (cant spell but you get the drift) if it happens to rain![]()

I didn't even notice those!
This is a really low res picture of a van a guy I know has. He bought it new. It is a DL7 Acacia Ridge XX7 L31 M21 in Windsor Blue with 23C trim and N67 rims. It had power steering added in the 90's. All paint is original except for the nosecone (stone chips). I've often wanted to convince him to sell it to me, but it'd be a shame to repaint it which i'd get done as i'd immediately remove:
Vacationer roof racks
Sunroof
Caprice bonnet emblem
Statesman sill moulds
Stainless mud flaps
XB GT side scoops
Tailgate mural
Stick on side strips
Tramp rods
Wheels
Edelbrock Performer (original rotted out).
Holley
Towbar
HQ rear bar
Wheel arch moulds.
Then i'd have to get another 23C headlining made as the front half is missing due to sunroof and tacky crushed velvet replacement added.
Last time I spoke to him he was never going to sell it though.
Body is dead straight, totally original paint. Even has the rough as guts panels under factory paint above the doors. I took this photo about 2 years ago. It's probably done 50kM since then!
2009 Nats was a dust bowl.
They hadn't had any decent rain for 10 years, BUT 8 months later the grass was plush and a nice green.
Saw a van owner cleaning his FJ for 3 days prior to the show, only to sit in the dust all day.

Do you have many other pictures that you can email me at all??
