another solid day of work into the van..got the modified stainless water tank in and mounted using sandman van fuel tank straps modified..generator door and framework in..fuel sender wiring run..removed seats and centre table and glued down insulation before carpet goes in..wired handbrake warning light..removed the step to paint and put some shiny checker plate bling on...tightened up all the bolts for things we have added like checker plate mudflaps..mounted the spare wheel winch that we took from the original hi ace..went to bunnings and bought stuff including a fire extinguisher and then had a sausage sambo picnic on the bonnet of the sinbox in the carpark..then to rays outdoors and bought a gas bottle mount so we can carry a spare gas bottle..then to autopro and picked up the cd/dvd player and reverse camera i ordered last week..then home to do more work on the van..will update the pics tomorrow after i go to truck place and buy better larger mirrors..i need a beer or 2 and some sleep..

Gee it's really coming along now. What sort of insulation is that, and where'd ya get it? Is it lightweight, or heavy as all crap?
I need to get rid of some footwell heat out of the Brock when I do it's new carpet over Xmas.
mick its a paper type insulation with air pockets.real lightweight.was given too me ..came from a campervan manufacturing place.
