Have you measured the distance between the rear wheels and the cab? The van looks too long there to fit on...
4/75 HJ XX7 Sandman Panelvan ... Persian Sand currently restoring
7/76 HX Monaro 4dr 308 4sp... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell.. SOLD
3/77 HX Sandman Panelvan ... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell .. SOLD
not yet sean..i just eyeballed it and thought it may be close..the hi ace is deceiving to look at because of its height..like i said above if it doesnt fit ill buy something to put it on..bedford cab chassis, ford transit cab chassis.one on ebay actually,f100/250 or chev c20..
Surely it wouldn't be too hard to shift the diff back a smidge if needed?
Like the numberplates on the tonner.
Nice score Greg, is there room for the slot car track in there?
onya brett.....no but there is room for seats and you and your home brew under the awning...![]()
after doing all the measuring i found that i needed at least an f350 dually iin wheelbase...what i found was an 82 ford transit with 250 6 cyl and auto that has always been a camper with a walkthru but the guy took the camper off..so its a cab chassis that is still registered so i dont need to engineer it and im just waiting for it to get down here from north of coffs harbour..it should have been here for this weekend but did not make it...:(
hiace chassis is coming out from under the camper tomorrow..just been pulling the fuel tank and water tank out today to get clearance for the rear wheels to roll under the camper...

If the van fits on the tonner, are you looking at selling the tray? Looking for something similar in the next month or so. PM if it's going please.
