Gee it's really coming along now. What sort of insulation is that, and where'd ya get it? Is it lightweight, or heavy as all crap?
I need to get rid of some footwell heat out of the Brock when I do it's new carpet over Xmas.

mick its a paper type insulation with air pockets.real lightweight.was given too me ..came from a campervan manufacturing place.

Thanks mate. I might try to chase some of it up. I don't see the sense in adding 50kg worth of dynamat when sound insulation isn't a prob - it's more the heat off the tunnel & floors (I've already made heat shields for the exhausts).

Thanks for the offer, but I should be right - we have a couple of reps at work who call on a few places who assemble motorhomes & caravans, so I'll get one of them to do the "look stoo-pid" part for me....
