Thanks for the offer, but I should be right - we have a couple of reps at work who call on a few places who assemble motorhomes & caravans, so I'll get one of them to do the "look stoo-pid" part for me....

so this week so far my mate ray has got all the 12 volt stuff working,had a gas man come out to check it out for certification and turns out gas hot water system is pg13ed and new 2 burner hotplate and griller isnt up to failproof standards so new stuff being purchased monday..got all masonite down on floor this arvo so lino goes down tomorrow..new water pump works a treat,2nd gas bottle carrier mounted..dont want to run out of gas half way thru dinner..dragged an aluminium ladder out i dont like to modify for back and inside top bunk..2 in 1 deal...update and new pics tomorrow..

fathers day effort started at 8.30 and we got all the new lino flooring down in the morning..did the fathers day lunch of sausage sambos on the sinbox bonnet at bunnings..came back and then got all the carpet cut fitted and then glued in..seats go back in tomorrow so will update pics then..

Good stuff. I like picture updates on this thread. Hanging out for the one where the 5.4 Boss motor goes in. Or an FPV tweaked turbo 6 with the 6 speed auto, that'd be good too.

when i got into it the 5.4 is way too big too fit..turbo 6 would also be a nightmare..if it has to be re engined its the old faithful 302 windsor which would go in..easy and basic..

No point reinventing the wheel. Go the easy proven way when needed.
