That's criminal... should report him to Russell Ingall The Enforcer's Car Protection Agency
such a waste when someone would rather see them rot than sell to someone that would restore.

How come he let you in there to look around if he wasn't going to let you take anything... I would of expected f-off at the front door if that was the case.
Mauser
A bit early for a Sandman Jennie... note the tail light... HG by the looks...
That Monaro looks to be in pretty good condition and very restorable as are the other cars, even the Premier would be a cool car to get.....
See it a lot though, like the idiot owners who don't get the ridiculous price they are asking for a car so sell it to scrap for $100 to spite everyone....
4/75 HJ XX7 Sandman Panelvan ... Persian Sand currently restoring
7/76 HX Monaro 4dr 308 4sp... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell.. SOLD
3/77 HX Sandman Panelvan ... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell .. SOLD
Did you actually offer any money. He has probably had a gut full of people offering him $200 for it. Try going around with $2000 in a wad and wave it under his nose. Keep another $1000 in the back pocket just in case you need to up the stakes.
You never know. Even at at $3000 its a bargain.
Didnt offer any money yet. he just wasnt interested in the concept of selling at all. Theres no way he will restore them. he hasnt even been in the back yard for maybe years. You cant get to it from the house, and have to get over the back fence. I was getting attacked by the vegetation and constantly tripped over. I had to walk over the cars... Among the cars were heaps of parts too.... I fell over a gearbox.
I will go back in a while and see if cash talks though....
Jennies right though, I should just steal the bloody things. He cant even see the cars from his house! Ha. Though there would be a lot of swearing trying to move them....
Some owners are probably afraid of the buyer turning it around for a quick massive profit. That can be a pretty shit feeling. I sold my HD last month to a guy with big plans to restore (I had one when I was a kid yadda yadda yadda......). 2 weeks later it sells for 3 times as much on ebay. I only accepted his lowball offer cause I thought he was going to do it some justice. Didn't bother me too much as it was a long way down the list of projects and I didn't loose any money, but if you saw the car you sold for 2k show up a week later and go for 30 I'm sure it would be a bit of a kick in the guts.
