LX seats into HZ

I have a pair of LX Hatchback front seats.
I'm going to remove the flip section of the hinges and put my HJ ones on.

NOW the questions are:
a) Will the HZ seat runners fit onto the LX seats?
b) Will these seats bolt up to the floor in the original HZ seat mounting points?

Yes and yes

I have a pair in my HQ LS with the standard Torana runners and they feel as though you are tilting forward, the back is a lot higher than the front, I'm going to put a set of HZ runners on the base and this should cure the problem.

How much do you want for the flip hinges? I have a HQ coupe with really bad rear seat access.

Or what would you swap them for?

Unfortunatly i won't be selling them at this stage.
Anyway i think there different to HQ.:Chin:

Agro,

I simply swapped the mechanism hinge (outer one) on my HZ seats, 4 bolts off, 4 bolts on and presto, easy front access to the back o the van..

Agro, I would leave the flip mechanism on. I had HJ Monaro coupe seats in my old HJ van back in the 80's and they were great, made getting to the jack and other crap you have stored behind the seats real easy....

pull on the lever and flip the seat foward, get what you need and flip the seat back...

against.... pulling the lever at the front of the seat, sliding the seat forward, winding the backrest forward, getting what you need, sliding the seat back, winding the back rest back to the correct position....

I wish I still had those seats....

So how did you go Agro????? Fitted the LX seats yet? Tempted to put a set of the LX ones I have in my van as they are a much better feeling seat than the Sandman ones....
