I simply swapped the mechanism hinge (outer one) on my HZ seats, 4 bolts off, 4 bolts on and presto, easy front access to the back o the van..
oh and thanks to Oz for sending the hinges over
Agro, I would leave the flip mechanism on. I had HJ Monaro coupe seats in my old HJ van back in the 80's and they were great, made getting to the jack and other crap you have stored behind the seats real easy....
pull on the lever and flip the seat foward, get what you need and flip the seat back...
against.... pulling the lever at the front of the seat, sliding the seat forward, winding the backrest forward, getting what you need, sliding the seat back, winding the back rest back to the correct position....
I wish I still had those seats....

So how did you go Agro????? Fitted the LX seats yet? Tempted to put a set of the LX ones I have in my van as they are a much better feeling seat than the Sandman ones....

I've put the drivers side in only so far.Cover is torn so it has a seat cover on it.
I'll let you know what it's like when i drive in on the meet up.
