"With Respect", it is kind of funny for me to read these responses to an ebay add, for an Auto HZ Sandman ute for sale. When they were new, there was no way any self respecting young guy would ever buy an auto, let alone one with air con and power steer. They were grandfather car's....and now, because of those fact's alone causing the rarity, people will climb over each other to buy one, if one becomes available that is.....Ahhhh, I wish I had bought an auto and kept it, although I would never have lived it down back then.

I want one for its rarity but I also don't want an aussie 4spd piece of junk! If I did buy a really nice 4spd Sandman i'd convert it to a trimatic using factory parts, and keep all the 4spd stuff to go back in when I sold it.
